The unique nature of abstract art comes from its ability to communicate in spaces that language fails. For that reason, I choose not to name many of my pieces because I feel that doing so would impose an inherit mistranslation onto the works. All of the paintings are acrylic on canvas.
This spider decided to spin a web on my porch one evening. It was too good a shot to pass up, so I pulled out a full set of lights and a tripod. It took 3 hours to get it right, but in the result was magnificent.
This shot was the result of a 2 hour shoot of a group of 10 spider monkeys jumping around the trees of the trees of the Ecuadorian Rain Forest.
